Tatiana Getsman riding Godo PM: galloping along the water's edge

Private horse owner · Valencia

Why one horse

I am not a stable and not an agency. I have one stallion, and he takes up all of my time.

How I ended up here

First came the horse,
then Valencia

The start

A children's park

My grandfather put me on a horse for the first time. Horses never left my life after that.

Before Godo PM

Other people's horses and the first PRE

For a long time I had no horse of my own: I rode other people's, PRE among them. So when it came to buying, the breed was never in question — I knew what I was taking.

L'Alcora

The coat colour decided where to go: for that colour in the PRE you go to Yeguada Paco Martí, the first stud farm in the world to work with dilute coat colours in the breed. I came to look at foals and left with one. Moving to Valencia followed from that.

Today

Dressage

I ride him myself. A professional rider works with him every day — preparing him for dressage competition.

Where the expertise comes from

I went the buyer's road end to end

Horses were a hobby all my life. It became a profession not in the saddle, but in the year I went the whole way myself — from the decision to buy to a horse in the stall.

Every step on this list I know first-hand, not from other people's accounts. That is why I take on the search and the purchase calmly: there is nothing in it I have not done for myself.

Finding and buying a horse →

  1. 01The breed. To fit the job and the budget, not the picture.
  2. 02The breeder. The one who really works with the coat colour you want, not the one who writes about it in the ad.
  3. 03The viewing. In person, on site, not on video.
  4. 04The papers. Pedigree by UELN in the LG PRE ANCCE studbook.
  5. 05The deal. Contract and vetting.
  6. 06Transport. All the way to the stall.

How I work

Three things everything rests on

I say what is missing

Godo PM has no breeding qualification and no offspring. I write that on the breeding page before you open the studbook.

I do not do other people's work

I do not take the photographs and I do not start young horses myself. I bring the horse, put the team together and answer for the result.

I answer myself

There are no forms and no managers. You write to me in a messenger — I am the one who answers, usually the same day.

Who I work with

The team

One person cannot do everything. Each job goes to whoever does it better than I do.
